Goalie Beachfront Resort

Our stay was far from comfortable or enjoyable. Even though the hotel knew we were arriving, no one was at the front desk, giving a cold first impression. The room lacked that “wow” factor and had visible dust. Dinner was a letdown: no staff to help and even basic drinking water wasn’t provided, forcing us to go back to our room. We ordered a specific dish, but received a different one; at least the bill was corrected fairly. We booked a BB rate, yet breakfast felt more like a token inclusion than a proper hotel experience. Overall hospitality and guest attention were sorely lacking. The terrace chairs were damaged and unsafe, a problem that needs urgent fixing. As locals, we expect the same warmth and care for all guests, regardless of nationality. There were a few positives, but the stay didn’t meet our expectations.

We had a completely wonderful stay at this hotel and can only recommend it. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a delicious welcome drink and a small snack, setting a great mood immediately. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay, making us feel always welcome and well taken care of. We were not disappointed gastronomically either: even in the evening we still had food, and breakfast was very tasty and varied, all freshly and attractively prepared. The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. The pool area was especially lovely, and the direct beach location was perfect for relaxing and enjoying. A tuk‑tuk gets you quickly and easily into town to discover more restaurants and activities. Overall, a fantastic stay – we would return anytime!

You’re also close to many cafes, bars, and activities, making it a great base if you want to explore while still having the beach at your doorstep.
