We were initially let down for a few reasons, but after spending some time at the place we saw that it has a few solid strengths. The main perk is its location: Hadimba Temple is just a five‑minute walk away, a small market is nearby, and the neighborhood feels lively yet calm and safe. It isn’t a property that focuses on views, but the easy access more than compensates for that. Cocoland is close for meals, along with several stalls and small eateries. It’s a practical choice if you want to be near Hadimba Temple, the local market, and the bustling parts of Manali. The downside was that the staff weren’t there when I was about to check in and were shouting loudly. The space was cramped—just one room on the property! If there’s nothing around, you’re stuck in the room. Luckily we got a room with a balcony, so at least it felt a bit airy. That’s why the accessibility of the space matters.

It felt like a cozy Airbnb. The staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful, though they had limits. The food was good. The main issue was that it was a walk‑up. My husband had just had foot surgery, so walking up and down was a bit hard for him. The property had no hand shower, and we were given a very small bar of soap and shampoo as toiletries. The water was cold and took a long time to heat up; it was freezing cold. All in all, it was an uncomfortable stay.

The staff were more than helpful. The views were wonderful and the food amazing. 10/10 would recommend.
