The location was great, and the person in charge during my stay was very helpful and excellent. The maintenance was poor and dirty, I really felt a disregard for service people, the bathrooms were nasty, and the kitchen was sad—especially during Sukkot when everyone comes together and the site has real potential.

Very pleasant and cozy, a quiet atmosphere, clean and comfortable facilities. There is a bit of road noise.

The visitors who come are quiet families. We were disappointed by the conditions—tents in bad shape, torn, with torn wheels and leaves, mattresses with a terrible smell, some wet, a broken sitting area. There are carts for carrying gear, but all have broken wheels and there are only 3 for a site of hundreds. The play area is very neglected. The fire pit hasn’t had the bushes trimmed and there’s no firewood to sit on. The stream that runs through is dry. Showers have hot water but maintenance and cleanliness are very low. We paid 700 shekels for a tent and it was completely worthless; a standard of 250 shekels for a family would be better. We were there a year ago and had a good experience. The camp has deteriorated and the level is now very, very low.

The place is very sunny, with plenty of toilet and shower stalls and a shared kitchen. There’s a nice play area for kids, but it’s a bit neglected. The whole long weekend we stayed, the toilets and showers were very dirty and not cleaned at all. Also, it’s right next to a quarry, and the smell from there is awful. There’s a lot of noise—workers shouting at the quarry all night. Dogs are allowed, so if you don’t like waking up to barking at night, this isn’t the spot for you.
