“Jamie and Rob”
The hostess Danielle was wonderful; she didn’t speak much English and we spoke a little French, but that didn’t stop us from having a fantastic time. We could park in a gated drive, put our bikes in her garage if needed, and enjoy an excellent al fresco breakfast from her. We were there to ride Mont Ventoux, but because Bedoin was closed to traffic on Monday for the market, she drove us to a suitable start point. She also let us leave our car and shower when we returned for free (she had no guests that day), gave us a cold drink and a long chat after our shower, and then we headed to our next destination in the late afternoon. She was truly amazing; my friend gave her a memento of our gratitude. The only downside was that we couldn’t fully understand each other, but that probably made it more fun and memorable.
