Located off Highway 35 in downtown Bigfork, the Timbers Motel is a short walk from Flathead Lake. This pet-friendly motel features a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and an outdoor lounge area with a gazebo. Guest rooms offer free Wi-Fi, microwaves, fridges, coffee makers, and locally roasted coffee and tea. It's 2.2 miles from Eagle Bend Golf Club and 40 minutes from Glacier National Park's entrance.

The staff was rude, the room was gross, and they didn’t honor our upgrade cost, among other things.

They had a pool and a hot tub, but I felt like I was in jail. I was warned about all the rules and extra fees and had to initial everything, and there was even a threatening sign on the bathroom mirror. I don’t recommend this place; no one went into the pool or hot tub for fear of extra charges.

That mattress was hands down the most comfortable I’ve slept on; I’d love to know the brand or make. The room’s placement was a drawback—right up the stairs above the office, no view, and every other guest up there had to walk past it, so privacy was missing and the scenery was disappointing, especially given how beautiful the area is. The room should be cheaper for that spot.

The setting in the forest by the lake is gorgeous, and it’s close to downtown with a lovely pool. The pillows were a little lumpy.
