The pool and the very quiet location were the positives.

Breakfast was decent, and the location was very convenient between the Rhone and the heart of Viviers. However, the reception was quite unpleasant, offering only the bare minimum of courtesy, and the breakfast was surrounded by cigarette smoke and loud conversations right next to the table. At 9:30 it didn’t seem too late to enjoy the peace of a beautiful zen garden. The bathroom was directly in the room with no partition, making the room damp after a shower. There was no hair dryer in the room. The electric bike battery recharge rates varied from a simple to a double charge depending on the stand you looked at in the room.

The charm, tranquility, reception, zen vibe, homemade meals, and location were all excellent. Nothing was lacking; everything was truly good, thank you Edmond.

The breakfast was very primitive, basically just a kind of bread with jam and yogurt. We wanted more friendliness and hospitality from the staff; it felt like they didn’t care about guests. We’d prefer a more varied breakfast than what was mentioned earlier. The spa was closed and the old stationary bike was unusable.
