The room was very nice, and the Bavarian cuisine was good; the restaurant was always full in the evenings. It’s ideally located for a layover or to explore Chiemgau, but a construction site made it hard to find and it feels a bit lonely.

We felt right at home from the start. The staff were very friendly and the check‑in went smoothly even though it was a day off. We were pleasantly surprised by the wellness area. The pool, open 24 hours, was great with plenty of loungers and the option to lie in the garden. There’s even a counter‑current system, though we didn’t try it. The sauna area, open on request from 17–20 h, was excellent. I expected just one sauna, but we found three saunas, a steam bath, a small beer pool, good showers and quiet spots. Hand and sauna towels are free. Access to the wellness zone is by elevator and can be opened with a room key. Breakfast was plentiful and good.

Owner and staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful and good. The restaurant food was very good with a wide selection. The place is a bit far from the main area.

Nice surroundings and a pretty inn. The train ran through the middle of the night across the farmers’ fields.
