The room was roomy with original, pretty décor, and the breakfast spot was excellent; the only downside was the noisy gate on the street when it closed.

The place is in a great spot, but it might help to have a door or a staff member at the service desk for privacy.

le petit déjeuner est top, une jeune étudiante italienne était là pour préparer des œufs, servir le café etc. Grand choix de produits frais (jambon, fromage, jus d'orange pressé devant moi). literie confortable. 1/ fournitures minimalistes mais conforme au parti pris de l'hôtel : pas de savon dans la douche (seulement du shampoing), rien pour poser gel douche ou autre, pas de support adapté pour poser ses vêtements dans la salle bain (la baignoire, par défaut). 2/ points vraiment négatifs dans la salle de bain : eau sans pression, pas de bonde dans le lavabo (il ne faut rien faire tomber), miroir trop éloigné pour se maquiller. 3/ espace vaste, on peu vite avoir froid si on est frileux, pas de rideau occultant il faut être préparer à ne pas dormir dans le noir 4/ il faut passer devant un square où il y a manifestement consommation (voire vente) de cannabis, le soir seule, pas très engageant

Breakfast was well‑provided and spacious; the staff were very friendly (present only during breakfast hours). We could also use the kitchen, which was convenient. Maintenance staff were also friendly and helpful. The room itself turned out to be more pleasant than we expected, simple and not overly luxurious, which was fine. The small, quiet, picturesque terrace was lovely. The mattress was heavenly and the sheets were crisp and clean, making for a pleasant sleep. The B&B is very quiet, located in a working‑class neighbourhood yet close to the city centre.
