Vila Perast Boutique Hotel

The spot’s spot-on, can’t get better, but the hotel’s really “Almost Good”. The room was barely clean—hair on the bathroom floor, mud (???) on the window. The safe had no manual, the TV was the size of my laptop, and some furniture was broken. Laundry came back almost dry, though I got a refund. Breakfast was almost fine: the coffee machine only had Nescafé, items on the buffet never refilled, eggs and sausages stayed in a warming container but never actually heated, and salt and pepper were missing.

Rien. The room had no staff after 16h, the sink leaked at 17, the windows weren’t sealed, the bed was unstable, there were dangers in the shower, the plastic anti‑slip mat was unstable because it wasn’t adhesive, no night light, the TV was placed opposite a cupboard making it impossible to watch, and when we asked the manager the staff replied “it doesn’t fit in my pocket.” We booked three rooms and were very disappointed.

“Loved Perast and enjoyed our stay. Thank you”

The waterside restaurant area was lovely for alfresco dining, and there was also an indoor space and a covered outdoor area that was handy when it rained one morning, letting us eat outside yet stay dry. Breakfast was great, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. We were given a family suite (one extra‑large double and a double sofa bed) on the same floor as reception, but the window faced a stone wall with no view, and it was low enough to see people in the passageway outside. A smoker stood right outside our window, which was annoying. The air‑con wouldn’t turn on—needed instructions—and the bathroom smelled a bit drainy; black flying insects appeared, so we kept the door closed to contain them.

“Did not meet the expectations”

Nice spot, but the images on the booking site set higher expectations. The view from our room faced another building that was covered, so we only saw a white cover from the window. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, and breakfast was somewhat poor in my opinion.

“Interesting location”

The location was great, but the room had dust and a damp smell, and the fridge was dirty.
