The owner was incredibly friendly and helped us with everything, tailoring every detail to our needs. He took us to a nice restaurant and arranged a tour of the village and rice fields that was perfectly suited to our family. The cottages were clean and comfortable, with a lovely veranda and garden overlooking the volcano, ideal for relaxing. Located in a quiet village, it’s easy to experience local life, and it’s definitely not touristy.

Everything was perfect overall. The family was very kind and welcoming, ready to assist with all logistics like taxis and routes. The room was very good, clean, spacious, and in a quiet, off‑the‑beaten‑path area. There’s a small restaurant just around the corner, and plenty of activities to engage with the local community. The mosque noise is unavoidable in the area, but I liked it and it didn’t bother me as it did for others. 100% recommend. I didn’t stay longer because I was heading to the ferry to Sumbawa, which is an hour away.

It’s near the port to catch the ferry to Sumbawa. When we arrived, no one was there to welcome or greet us, so we were left mostly to ourselves.
