I was greeted by a warm, family‑like vibe and a friendly host who left detailed notes on local spots and restaurants right in my room; breakfast was easy to grab in the shared kitchen, all included. The property sits a bit on the edge of town, only two parking spots are on site—if those are taken you have to park on the street—and the place is a touch noisy; the single room feels a little cramped.

The rooms were spotless and pretty, the host was pleasant and I’d gladly return, and the location near Switzerland is excellent. The Rhine side isn’t the most scenic, but it’s practical.

I really liked the owners’ hospitality and the place is very clean and well‑located for biking to Basel. It could be a bit cheaper, but I’d stay there again.
