Nothing positive at all, I wouldn’t call it a scam just because I managed to avoid sleeping on the street. Everything was terrible: when we arrived we found out the manager (not the owner) spoke only Arabic, making communication impossible. He somehow told us he didn’t know which room we were in, even though I showed him the booking. He told us to contact the owner, who irritatedly said she would send us a WhatsApp with the room. When we got there we discovered it had no bathroom, a detail that wasn’t mentioned when we booked, and we were immediately denied an upgrade to a private‑bathroom room because the property didn’t actually have one, nor was it listed on the website. The room was only moderately clean, but the balcony blinds were broken, so we couldn’t open them or ventilate, making the space feel claustrophobic. There was no breakfast or water at the entrance, just two tea bags and a dirty kettle. The room and the floor had a heavy, smoky smell. The bathroom was hardly pleasant—dirty, with filthy old mats, barely any usable items except a half roll of toilet paper and hand soap, and a single used towel that had clearly seen many hands. My girlfriend and I stayed there only because we couldn’t afford to move to another place on short notice. I wouldn’t recommend it even as a form of torture.

The staff said a lot of friendly Arabic greetings.

The room and bathroom were dirty, with mattresses littered with hair from someone I couldn't identify, and I had to sleep in my clothes because the blankets smelled horribly of stale, enclosed air. I ended up disinfecting the nightstand and the fridge area in the room with alcohol due to the visible dirt and dust. The building was poorly ventilated, and a strong scent of spices and onions wafted from the kitchen—if you close your eyes and nose, you can stay there in peace. For €85 for a double room I didn't expect a fairy‑tale castle, but the CLEANLINESS was lacking.

There were no window screens, no AC, and I couldn't get hot water in the shower. The nightstand and lamp were missing, the sheets and blankets were stained, and only a mattress protector was provided (the closet had blankets that didn't look recently cleaned and there was no sheet). There was no microwave. It was convenient for work, but the area isn't touristy. In terms of cleanliness and amenities, most hostels are far superior, but at least this place offered a private room.
