The place is quiet and easy to reach, making it a great launchpad for motorcycle rides, horse hikes, bike or walking trips in the north‑western Vosges. Dinner was delicious with authentic local dishes. The room was uniquely decorated and fully equipped—nothing was missing. Staff spoke French, English, and German and offered plenty of useful tips. However, on bad weather days there was no covered spot for motorcycles.

The hosts were kind and caring, there were toys and books for children, and the meals were of good quality and well prepared. The overall condition of the accommodation (lack of lighting, no required smoke detector…) and especially our room (empty shower gel dispenser, jammed shower door, old and uncomfortable beds…) were disappointing, and breakfast was very sparse for the price.

The location is gorgeous, right in the middle of nature and quiet, and the host is friendly. The rooms are just okay, but you don’t need to look too closely for dust or spider webs, and the breakfast selection is very limited.

Patrick’s welcome, his charming wife, and his clever daughter who will soon take over are fantastic. The family‑friendly, friendly atmosphere during summer meals on the terrace is lovely. Nothing to complain about.
