“Schönes Hotel, gute Lage, feines Essen aber kein Wellnesshotel!!!”
The food was wonderful, with a wide breakfast selection, egg dishes, and drink options; an evening special menu was offered. Unfortunately we missed the fine print that the restaurant was closed on Wednesday, so we had no dinner that night. The rooms are beautifully renovated, all wood‑faced, reminiscent of a mountain hotel. I also want to mention the physiotherapist who immediately identified what I needed and applied his extensive therapeutic knowledge precisely. What bothered me most was the Wednesday closure; after asking the chef, he said we should have read the fine print, which somewhere at the bottom noted the Wednesday closure. For that price I didn’t expect it. The rate is about the same as a higher‑end Swiss hotel. I also think the word “Spa” in the hotel name is inappropriate. There were only two saunas, no steam bath, few loungers in the relaxation room, and a small pool that’s meant for cooling off rather than swimming.
