The rooms were spacious. We spent two hours trying to call the front desk to check in, but no one answered. The rooms weren’t ready until 15:30 even though check‑in was at 13:00. The rooms were dirty, one had no water and the other had foul‑smelling water. Breakfast was delivered in a take‑away box, so it arrived cold and dry.

The only good thing was the proximity to Mount Batur. First off, the photos on Booking don’t match the actual property; they probably used pictures from another hotel. We used the location given on Booking to get there, but we arrived at a place with no hotel—just some people—and the actual hotel was a few hundred meters away. The rooms were unclean, the glass on my door was broken with a hole, and the pool was murky, so we didn’t swim.

The atmosphere feels very homely, and everything is very clean and organized. It’s a bit hard to find the location.

“Exciting thrilling ride to the location at night, beautiful place despite of annoying flies N water”

The staff were friendly, the bathroom had hot water, there were many fragrant flowers, and the room décor was nice. The rest was ordinary—towels, soap, shampoo. Breakfast is included and available after 8 am, though the selection isn’t large. The road to the hotel is dirt and full of holes from heavy rain, so it’s best to arrive in the late afternoon when the road is still visible, especially if it’s your first time, and hope it doesn’t rain because you’ll be driving a car through a field of tomatoes and onions. The water stops flowing every 5 minutes, which is very annoying; when you’re using the toilet or shampoo, you have to wait 3–5 minutes in cold water. There are many flies in the morning, which is quite irritating.

I didn't like anything about this place. The cabins sit in the middle of nowhere, everywhere smells like sewer. There are swarms of flies everywhere, dead insects on the floor, and the cabin doors wouldn't close. After 30 seconds of thinking, we gave up on staying here.
