Garden views are visible from the Deluxe Triple Room. The room sleeps three guests on one single bed, one extra‑large double bed, and an optional crib. A private bathroom includes a shower, bidet and hairdryer, while air‑conditioning, a flat‑screen satellite TV, minibar and tea‑and‑coffee maker provide comfort. Free toiletries are supplied for guests.

The hospitality really stood out. Two reception ladies were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful, and they managed an early check‑in for us at the last minute. The kitchen manager was warm and welcoming, always greeting us and ensuring our breakfast was great; he even went out of his way to arrange a special Sri Lankan breakfast. The pool was very clean and well maintained, and the resort’s peaceful setting in the middle of nature was lovely. We did find ants on our bed one night, which was expected given the forest location, but the staff quickly moved us to a new room. The only other minor inconvenience was that no one was at reception during the night, so it could be hard to get help late.

Pool seemed clean and well maintained. Staff were very good and helpful. Rooms were cramped and bed is right behind the glass door with translucent curtains. Bathroom doors are transparent almost. Ridiculous. When I asked for a bottle of water I was charged 4 times the market rate for a 1L water bottle. Very horrible to not provide customers with basic water for drinking. Also they close the main gate before 10pm so if the vehicle we travel by comes after that then we have to search and make arrangements to open and enter the property

What I would have done differently: we stayed three nights, and during those nights no housekeeping came to change towels or anything. The water was not always warm, and the air‑con cannot go into sleep mode, so it was very noisy at night.
The small complex, with a few cottages, creates a very atmospheric whole. In the middle is a fairly large pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The location is very good as a base, the cottages are clean, and the breakfasts are tasty.
