“Il bosco di castagni”

The rustic accommodation was renovated enough to preserve its character. Owner Paolo, with few words and many gestures, made us feel at home. Together with Antonella and other friends, he prepares tasty local meals for lunch and dinner. The horses roam freely, and when the children asked, Paolo let them ride the horses and kindly explained how to behave. It was a wonderful experience for the kids too. Nothing to report if you know what you’re looking for.

Friendly staff, especially the host who was very pleasant. Horses were roaming freely around the courtyard, and their droppings were scattered all over the yard. The bedroom was in the same building as the barn, so it felt below the standard of a typical camping accommodation, and we had to bring our own mattress to sleep on. The rental car was parked in the same courtyard as the horses, which was inconvenient.

“Gastfreundschaft”

The owner was super friendly, open and humorous, and even let us take on a challenge and eat pasta while riding a horse. The gravel road on the last three kilometres to the entrance was a bit tough for our old Fiat 500.
