Casa Antica

We booked this room and one other for 1 night but our friend became ill so we stayed 4 nights in total; the rooms were immaculately clean, light, airy, bright and furnished with quality items; the beds were so comfortable, the bedding crisp and of quality, the bathroom spacious with a powerful shower, and a lovely private terrace; the room was cleaned daily and the cleaner was a wonderful helpful person, as were the reception staff; these rooms were tastefully decorated and had a warm, welcoming ambience; surrounded by tavernas, bars, supermarkets and pharmacies, but located in a small cute alley and very quiet; there was also a communal terrace upstairs and a gorgeous large courtyard downstairs to sit amongst the greenery and read your book; we would happily stay again and highly recommend.

“Casa Antica was a very welcome introduction to Rhodes.”

I enjoyed being in the old town. It was less touristy than the medieval quarter . The property had a quiet charm aboout it. It was full of character. It's only a slight niggle but it is what has stopped me giving this property a 10. My room had a private terrace but it felt very exposed. It was adjacent to the communal terrace where people came to smoke. As a none smoker, I didn't find this pleasant. I think a simple trellis and a lick of paint would greatly improve the terrace experience

The location was pretty good, just along a small side street but still close to everything. The interior was truly beautiful. My room was a 2‑bedroom suite, one of the beds was on a steep platform that made it a bit of a climb—no problem when traveling alone, but would have been an issue with a partner. All the noise from the hallway seeped into the rooms.

The location was fine. We booked a room for two, but it was extremely small; we couldn’t even open two suitcases at once. The shower door didn’t open fully, so we couldn’t stand together. There were two single beds and no double bed. The blankets were very thin, like a simple bedspread. We asked for new ones, and they were changed, but the first night was miserable and we didn’t sleep much. The only positives were the location and the quick response.

The room was well‑furnished, spacious, welcoming and spotless, and the central location was fantastic. The bathroom, however, was small with a cramped shower.
