The place itself was fine – clean rooms and friendly staff – but the TV picture was fuzzy and the Wi‑Fi kept dropping, which made it hard to stream anything. Otherwise nothing major to complain about.

A tiny, family‑run spot that feels really cozy – everything was spotless, the bed comfy and the bathroom in great shape, and breakfast was generous and delicious. Neide, the owner, is a sweetheart who makes you feel right at home. It’s about a kilometre from the riverfront with its restaurants, bars and market, but the price and overall quality more than make up for the walk.

The only real drawback was the location; it sits quite a distance from the city centre, so getting to the main attractions required a long walk or a taxi. Everything else was fine, but the remote spot made it inconvenient.

The room was surprisingly large and the breakfast was tasty, and the guy who ran the place (probably the owner) was really friendly. Arriving around 3 am, though, we found the inn completely dark and locked, and it took about twenty minutes of knocking and calling before anyone answered. Small grasshopper‑like insects were everywhere in the room, which was a nuisance I’d heard other travelers mention too.

Inês was wonderful – she treated us like family, was always ready to help and took care of every request we had. The room was clean, the air‑conditioning worked perfectly and breakfast was tasty, making for a great stay overall. The only minor downside is that the hotel is about six blocks from the centre, but it’s an easy walk and everything else is nearby.
