“Ruhig und wunderbar erholsam”
The location is 2.5 km from the center, which has its pros and cons. It’s very quiet, close to the beach and the lake, and feels like a small second center with its own district, a nice fish restaurant right on the beach, and smoked‑fish stalls. A good café sits on the main street. For shopping we had to walk a bit further into town; only small shops are on site. Buses and the convenient, cheap Mielno‑taxi are available, and you can take day trips to nearby towns by bus. We chose a large room with two beds, which was truly spacious, and the balcony was great. The hosts were very friendly. The only downside was that larger supermarkets were a bit far, and buses ran less often in September.
