“Overall OK. Would have been excellent if cleaner in side and out”
We were really looking forward to our stay, and the views of the sea were stunning. The key code system for collecting the key was a nice touch, and the lodge itself was spacious and well-equipped. We liked having our own sheets, and there was plenty of kitchen cutlery and plates. However, it didn't feel like the lodge had been properly cleaned - the cleaning equipment was poor, and we ended up leaving it cleaner than we found it.
We had a really relaxing stay at this hotel, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and comfortable, which was just what we needed. However, there were a couple of things that let it down - there was no walk-in shower, and the local bus service wasn't very convenient.
