A gorgeous campsite tucked among mountains, perfect for watching sunsets and stargazing at night. They let you rent tents, camp beds, mattresses, sleeping bags, and pillows, which is handy if you don’t have gear. The spot is quiet and beautiful for relaxing in nature. The only drawback is there’s no food or drinks for sale, so you must bring everything yourself.

Nice spot, nothing around but very pretty! Special shoutout for the sunrise and sunset. It’s just a place to sleep. Friendly staff. No electricity on the site, but there’s solar lighting. Warning: payment is only in cash, and we didn’t notice that before arriving! The first dispenser is more than half an hour away from the campsite.

The campsite is very basic, with minimal services. There’s no power at the pitch. The toilets are shared, but since only we and one other pitch were there, we had one of the two toilets to ourselves. Because it was windy and we had few reservations, we moved to a slightly more sheltered spot that lets us cook. The owner was very helpful and, due to the wind, offered us the chance to sleep inside one of the large tents with the provided hammocks. The place is still beautiful, surrounded by nature in a wonderful setting. Unfortunately, in strong wind there’s no shelter. We used their tent (quite dusty) but it was still a tough night. Payment was only in cash. The location is about sixty kilometres from Sesriem (the access point to Sossusvlei), so it’s a bit far, almost the last beach while all the other campsites are full.
