The breakfast was very good. We stayed for three days in Vendée. The room was immaculate, very clean and practical, the breakfast was decent, and the price was average. We arrived on 15 September as stated in our reservation, but the hotelier expected us on 16. We were still accommodated (the hotel was empty), but this mishap led to a disappointing exchange with the manager at check‑out. We left with a mixed impression, which is unfortunate.

There really are no mosquito nets, the lack of air‑conditioning and the high heat mean a lot of mosquitoes.

Our room felt comfortable and fairly roomy, while breakfast was just okay and didn’t justify the €10.50 per person; a major issue was that the reception closed at 18:00 on weekends instead of the advertised 21:00, even though the hotel had emailed us about it, the entry code sent by phone around 17:30 was wrong, and no one answered our call at about 20:00 despite leaving two voicemail messages.
