Sahure Pyramid View Inn

I was blown away by my time at King Sahure Inn; Hatem, the owner, is warm, welcoming, and trustworthy, speaking flawless English and showing genuine passion for Egypt and his work. Every morning he cooked an amazing breakfast, and when I booked a private tour with him it was fantastic—patient, knowledgeable, eager to answer questions, and he even captured photos and videos for me. The inn’s peaceful vibe and beautiful garden made it the perfect spot to unwind after visiting Saqqara and Memphis. Hatem’s heartfelt hospitality really sets this place apart; I’d stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone heading to Saqqara. Thanks, Hatem, for making my stay unforgettable!

“Una decepción”

The garden was pretty, but when we arrived it was missing and we had to wait about an hour in the sun because they had forgotten about us. They left again, the shower was broken, and when they returned they spent time showing their wife their new artwork instead of helping us. We had to wait another hour for assistance. The sink was full of ants, smelled bad, and the room had dirty items. We had booked a local tour, but they forgot the price and conditions they had told us through Booking. On the day of the tour, they made us enter a tomb with someone else so we could tip the man (we assume it was their friend). Then they took us to a friend's bar and tried to charge 600 EGP for two Coca‑Colas and some chips—nothing in Spain costs that— and they didn't join us in the guided visit to Memphis, where we saw guides with other people. The next morning we had agreed to breakfast at 9 am, but they arrived at 9:15, so we couldn't eat until 10 am and missed the plans for that day. We had read very good reviews but were disappointed.

The place was beautiful and peaceful; I highly recommend King Sahure Pyramid Inn! Friendly, clean, and very comfortable.

Excellent choice for sleeping near Saqqara. Clean, quiet, new, and the owner and his dog are top. Everything was perfect.

“Gem of a place for a recharge with personal touch.”

What an absolute sanctuary after noisy Cairo, right in front of the Pyramid of Sahure—couldn't be better. A real diamond of a place. Personal and relaxing, the host Hatem is fantastic. The puppy was a bonus. Definitely five stars for its location, the place, host, quietness, and the sunset over the pyramid. It's not a five‑star hotel, so don't expect that, but five stars for people looking for a literal oasis. Wish I could stay longer but will come back.
