The setting was wonderful for a vintage, traditional vibe, and the host and his employee were extremely warm. The only downside was having to leave.

The spot is right next to Kutchan town and the drive to Niseko/Rusutsu ski fields is a breeze. I loved the rustic homestay vibe, the owners, and the breakfast.
