“Интересно, но на пару дней)”
The villa is truly beautiful and matches the photos, with a mesmerizing view from the terrace. However, despite the stunning vistas, the location is not ideal for long stays because there is no nearby infrastructure. Climbing into the apartment is difficult due to a steep mountain ascent, and you have to pause mid‑trip to catch your breath. The villa is in a typical fishing village on northern Bali, where daily life differs sharply from other parts of the island, even though the island itself is small. Within walking distance there are almost no food options; a 30‑minute walk is required to reach an Indomarket store that sells only instant noodles, long‑life bread, chips, and the like, making fruit almost impossible to buy. In this part of the island, taxis, bikes, and Grab or Gogik are unavailable, so you end up isolated unless you spend a fortune on transport. If you ask locals to give you a lift, the price will be three times higher than what you would pay elsewhere in Bali. The villa is 90 km from Denpasar, and we spent at least 3.5 hours traveling there, which is expensive for Bali’s traffic. After staying 13 days, we realized that living and relaxing in Bali could be done differently and decided to move to Canggu. In short, if you don’t have a bike, the villa is fine for a few days to see a waterfall or walk to the ocean, but it’s not suitable for a longer stay. There is no beach in the usual sense—just huge rocks—though the ocean is always beautiful. There is no mosquito net on the door, but there are mosquitoes. I would have liked the towels to be changed without reminders or requests.
