Thanks to an upgrade I got to stay in a suite that was spotless and the daily housekeeping was attentive; the front desk staff were courteous, the breakfast was delicious—especially the grilled mackerel set—and it was a pleasant surprise to enjoy such tasty salt‑grilled fish there, plus the other dishes were all excellent. For dinner I highly recommend trying the rolled sushi.

The facilities were clean, very roomy and easy to use, and the staff were extremely friendly, constantly looking after our needs; breakfast was tasty and being delivered to the room was a nice touch, and having a Japanese‑speaking employee was especially helpful. The only downside was that the hotel sits a bit far from the city’s attractions, so we had to rely on Grab for transport.
