Nice spot in North Pantanal for spotting jaguars, but the night drive was let down by the route.

“Una de las pocas opciones para alojarse sobre el Cuiabá !”

This hotel has great potential, but its poor communication and lack of initiative during our stay left us underwhelmed. While the hotel's location and wildlife were highlights, the service and tours fell short. The jaguar tour was a saving grace.

“Wonderful place, pricey but dig deep - it's worth it”

This enchanting Brazilian retreat, Porto Jofre, exceeded expectations in many ways, but its basic accommodations and mosquito issues detracted from the overall experience. While the lovely Santa Rosa location, pleasant staff, and delicious food made for a memorable stay, the pricey room rates and lack of comfort in the rooms left much to be desired.

“Fantastic. We would definitely stay there again if in the area”

This charming Brazilian retreat, with its idyllic location by the river, exceeded expectations in many ways, but its small and simple rooms detracted from the overall experience. While the clean and well-maintained property, excellent food, and helpful staff made for a pleasant stay, the limited space in our room was a drawback.
