The location was wonderfully quiet, the surroundings were beautiful, the B&B was comfortable, and the host was friendly. I wouldn’t know it this way. The winding stairs to the upper floor, I do it carefully, but I’m a bad demander, because they always want to help.

The place sits in a lovely rural setting, reached by a quirky spiral staircase and with horse stables at the back, perfect for country walks. The apartment was spacious, impeccably clean, fully furnished, and the kitchen had everything needed. Owner Ankie was very friendly and helpful, speaking perfect English like everyone else in the Netherlands. Parking was easy outside. The TV and Wi‑Fi were excellent, and a laptop was even provided. A “Jumbo” supermarket in the center of Schijndel, about 2 km away, offered many shops, restaurants, and cafés. The only downside was that my two‑day stay fell during a heat wave, making it hard to stay cool even with the cooling fans.

The location was perfect and relatively spacious, surrounded by a quiet green environment. Communication beforehand was good, and the welcome was friendly. The only minor issue was the neighbor’s dog barking at every passerby, though there aren’t many passersby anyway.
