“Beautiful homestay with a great host”

The room was absolutely gorgeous! You can wander through the rice terraces and Ta Phin village near the homestay, and the homestay itself is very pretty. The host was super friendly and helped us with transport and other arrangements. The food was good too. Nothing else to add.

The place is secluded and has a bit of charm. The prices are very high, the driver is the most expensive, and they want to control all expenses and have everything go through them.

“Haven in Sapa”

Sapaxa Spring Garden Ecolodge felt like a breath of fresh air. It’s 20 minutes from the town centre, surrounded by rice fields and market gardens. My spacious room was a haven to return to after a long day trekking the hills. The staff were very helpful, organizing transport and tours. I love this lodge. Everything met my expectations.

“Too short, I would return for a longer stay.”

The spot is great, with a stunning view of the rice fields from the balcony, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent, offering a variety of choices, and the village itself felt beautiful and welcoming. On the downside, a bit more attention to cleaning the bathroom and bedroom would have made it even better, but overall the stay was wonderful and clean enough.

Nos gustó mucho el trato del personal, que mostró una gran predisposición para orientarnos sobre las actividades y ayudarnos a organizar nuestros planes durante la estancia. La habitación tiene una cama súper cómoda y unas bonitas vistas a la montaña. El desayuno es sencillo y escueto, pero está rico. Por último, destacar el entorno, que invita a salir a caminar por la zona o alquilar una moto para recorrer los alrededores y descubrir el paisaje. No me gustaron las zonas comunes, ya que estaban bastante descuidadas y ocupadas con enseres personales. Además, no se corresponden con las fotografías que aparecen publicadas. La limpieza es mejorable y el baño de la habitación se encuentra en un estado regular. En general, todo transmite cierta sensación de falta de mantenimiento. La distancia hasta Sapa es mayor de lo que puede parecer inicialmente, por lo que para desplazarse prácticamente siempre hay que utilizar Grab o moto. Recomiendo especialmente alquilar una moto, ya que facilita mucho los desplazamientos. El camino de acceso está, además, bastante mal iluminado. Otro aspecto negativo es que no reponen las toallas ni el agua de forma habitual, por lo que hay que ir a pedirlas o buscarlas. Cuando llueve, esto resulta especialmente incómodo. Por último, tanto el desayuno como el menú tienen muy poca variedad y las opciones disponibles son bastante limitadas
