Breakfast was decent and matched the price range, but the coffee was only from the automatic machine; the room was fine, the bed comfortable and I slept well, and on request we also received a second blanket. Overall the hotel feels a bit dated and not very modern, but that didn’t spoil our stay, the staff were very helpful, and it was a good experience. I would have liked a high‑quality espresso from a portafilter for breakfast; we had that standard in a three‑star hotel in Pisa, and a second hook for hanging towels in the bathroom would have been desirable in a double room, as we had to hang a towel over the door because there was no place to hang it.
