“Maravilhoso achado”
The hotel is excellent for resting because it’s “in the middle of nowhere,” i.e., outside the city’s traffic axis in Goiana‑PE. From what I saw, the establishment is more sought after by companies and multinationals in the area. The nightly rate is quite attractive, especially considering its structure and what it offers guests: a hearty breakfast with a wide variety and constant replenishment (I missed a larger fruit selection); large and comfortable rooms; a medium‑sized pool; adequate cleaning; ample parking; good quality internet (though it was sometimes unstable or slow). The staff’s excellent service, from reception to assistants, deserves mention. On the first night I needed extra pillows, and the receptionist handled my request without any problem. I also want to thank the great restaurant service, which happens to have good prices and inviting dishes, much better than going to Goiana, 17 km away. I’ll probably return to Abba soon. Because of the lower price compared to other hotels in the region, and its location on the way to the famous Barra de Catuama and Carne de Vaca beaches, Abba attracts whole families. During this stay, two families were extremely rude, both adults and their mostly teenage children, with loud conversations in the corridors leading to rooms, ball play and running in the unit floor at night, and misuse of the leisure area. At times they entered the elevator wet. For such abuses I felt the hotel lacked enforcement to prohibit such behavior. One night there were many shouts and commotion on the floor we were on, and since the rooms don’t have intercoms and are far from reception, we had to contact reception via WhatsApp. Fortunately, I was promptly attended to and the issue was resolved. Nonetheless, it didn’t affect the excellent impression I had of the hotel, which is now an option for a few days of rest.
