We arrived a little early and the front desk lady told us check‑in wouldn’t start until 3 pm because the tent wasn’t cleaned yet, so we just spent the day fishing. When we returned it all looked fine and we cooked on the outdoor pit. The bathrooms are oddly located far from the tents, over by the RVs, so you have to walk or drive. At about 12 am we tried to sleep, but the sheets had large love‑stain crusty spots; the lady had just made the bed and didn’t bother to inspect it. It was absolutely disgusting, so we had to take the blankets off the chairs outside and cover the mattress ourselves. The owners apparently have their own clean beds at home at that hour. I called the property but got no response and I’m planning to contact the health department because they charge a $25 cleaning fee when you book and then refuse to reply. I don’t recommend this place at all; they steal money and expect you to sleep in filth.
