I really love the design of this house; it feels like a little museum full of character, yet it has a very warm and lived‑in atmosphere. The ceilings are so high that even the shared dormitory feels spacious, and from the dorm you can enjoy one of the most iconic and beautiful night views in Georgia. The price is incredibly affordable, and the kitchen is especially spacious. I really love the atmosphere of this place, and the bed is so comfortable, too. If I ever come back to Tbilisi, I will definitely stay here again! The only thing that could be better is having a few more hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes.

WiFi is strong, tap water is drinkable, and when trouble arose I was helped immediately, which I appreciated; free laundry is a bonus. It’s within walking distance of the metro and there are supermarkets nearby. If you arrive in the afternoon it’s relatively easy to find, but there are no signs, so it would help to have a sign near the entrance indicating where the hostel is and which floor it’s on (I ended up going up to the third floor by instinct, but there was no indication that the hostel was there). Across Georgia, some rooms always have a lingering cigarette smell (they smoke on the balcony), and there are long‑term guests who stay late or overnight, so you can hear noise late at night.

“For the amount you pay, that's what you get.”

Alexandra’s charming service was good 😜 The location is nice and the view from the small balcony is pleasant. The metro station is a 10‑minute walk away and the bus station is 20 minutes away. There are bakeries nearby with tasty food at good prices. You need to take the airport bus and then another bus that will bring you close to the hostel; bring cash before you arrive. Unfortunately, I have to mention this because it’s important: the hostel is a bit hard to find since it is not signposted, and if you arrive at night you’ll be in the dark because there’s no lighting. The place is literally Irina’s house, so there are more family members living there too. It’s important to know that you should only talk to the long‑haired guy or the lovely Alexandra; don’t ask any of the other family members for help because they’ll respond badly or even aggressively 🙄 Since there are many beds for the size of the room, I suggest adding curtains for a bit more privacy. The photos don’t match the reality of the room.

“Buena opción”

The location is excellent, the shower is good, and the price‑to‑quality ratio is solid. There are no outlets near the beds, and I had to wait a while to check in because the front desk staff was absent.

The interior design is very much in a 20th‑century artistic style, and it's not far from the old town center, making it a great value for the price. The bed feels a little wobbly, but it's still tolerable.
