We ended up with the cottage all to ourselves and the owner even let us hide our motorcycles in his barn, which was a huge relief. The place is modest in size but feels roomy, nicely equipped, and sits on a fenced private lot. The only snag was that the address listed online didn’t match the real location, but a short phone call got the owner to meet us and point us in the right direction. I’d pass the GPS coordinates along for anyone heading this way.

The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, even though the house itself is very old and takes a little getting used to. We still enjoyed our stay and liked that a decent restaurant was only about 200 m away.
