The spot is lovely, though getting there by taxi takes a short but pricey ride from town. I’d have liked to stay longer to soak it all in – I didn’t have enough time.

Anais booked us in, handed us drinks, and served our pre‑ordered evening platter on the lawn; she and the food and drinks were delightful. The only issue was the stairs to the second floor, but we knew about that before booking.

It’s a stunning place, the room was huge and had everything I needed. I travel a lot and usually stay in 4‑ or 5‑star hotels, but this was the best one I’ve been to in France on this trip. You’ll need a car to reach the main shopping area.

Very nice property, room was comfortable, staff very helpful , breakfast was excellent. Position is very easy to access Beaune and nearby villages. Evening meals are possible within a 5km range from the Chateau. Plagues of mosquitoes in the evening made sitting outside not so enjoyable (but that is certainly not the fault of the Chateau!!
