Nelson and Kamani, thanks for the comfy and safe room during my brief stay at Panadura; your friendly help was appreciated and I loved the Sri Lankan breakfast. Next time I visit Sri Lanka, I’ll be glad to see you again. For breakfast, consider adding a simple buffet mix—milk rice with roti, pancake, or bread—plus a jug of tea and milk, similar to what Moon Deck Villa offers on Ranaviru Mawatha, Katunayaka. I also hope you’ve upgraded the bathroom hot‑water system.

“Alles bestens, sehr nett”

The host was very accommodating, the recommended Ayurveda massage was excellent, the room’s furnishings were comfortable, the beds were pleasant, everything was spotless, and the warm water in the bathroom was great. I’ll definitely come back.

“Perfect”

Nelson, his wife, and the neighbors welcomed us at the gate, making us feel part of their family; we were offered several cups of tea, especially at tea time (4 pm), which was lovely for an Englishman away from home. We booked the stay 15 minutes before arrival in the morning, but that was fine. Nothing went wrong; they were wonderful and accommodating. The house and room were clean, spacious, and homely. Nelson informed us when the monkeys came so we could watch them, and he spent a lot of time sharing his knowledge of plants, fruits, and animals. The breakfast was also delicious. Absolutely nothing else to note.

“Très agréable et bien situé”

The room was spacious with comfortable bedding, the place was clean, and the reception was friendly. The bathroom drainage system is poor.
