Excellent location, fantastic breakfast, the jam/marmalade were so good. The room was a good size, the parking lot was large, and it was close to town.

A quiet house away from the road, very welcoming, easy parking, and a hearty breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. The city centre is reachable on foot.

A very nice place to stay with good breakfast and a simple breakfast bag to take away when leaving early in the morning—would recommend if you enjoy walking because the beach is literally a stone’s throw away. There are decent places to eat, but it can be hard to get a table during busy periods or off‑season. Thurso is a nice town and this guest house is one I’ll use again if the chance comes up. Stone and gravel in the car park can be a problem for motorcycles, so riders should be careful when entering and exiting, especially when parking.

The house is historic and was beautifully renovated, and the staff gave many useful tips for day trips; breakfast was delicious, though a soap dispenser in the shower would be helpful.
