The hotel’s location and staff friendliness were positives. The room and property were very well maintained, and the beds were truly comfortable. We were disappointed by the small size of the room, the sink being in the room, and the lack of a kettle even though it was listed in the description. The renovations caused the building to lose some of its original charm.

Everything was perfect – a gorgeous place that I wholeheartedly recommend. The outdoor pool area was a nice touch; we didn’t swim but liked lounging in the sun with a drink upon arrival. I asked for some crisps with my wine, and although they were out, a gentleman returned in 10 minutes with a portion of delicious homemade quiche cut into bite‑sized pieces to accompany our drinks – very thoughtful. The location is fantastic, and our room was simply stunning. The bed and pillows felt like a dream, and the shower was superb. The gentleman who checked us in was kind, patient, and helpful, and the lady who checked us out guided us out. There is nothing to dislike about the property! The only note is that we stayed for just one night on 23 September while heading back through France, and when it came time to find an evening meal, only one restaurant was open – and it was fully booked. All other places had closed for the evening, which was unexpected. We found a wine bar that was open and served a meat and cheese platter, which became our dinner.

A nice hotel in a small, picturesque village. The elevator didn’t work. The owner wasn’t very friendly. We booked the large 36‑square‑meter room but received a significantly smaller one.
