The receptionist was friendly. One of the pillows wasn’t clean.

“Wouldn’t stay there again.”

The hotel was close to the spots we were visiting over the weekend, which was great. Yet we could hear the drive‑thru speaker box all night, our pillows were paper‑thin and there was only one per room with no extras, there were no spare blankets, only three towels for three people, the shampoo and soap were tiny and barely enough for one person, the front desk was empty the entire time we were there, and the TV in the room didn’t work at all.

The bed was hard and the pillows were too soft. When I arrived the room was heated like a sauna because the windows were shut and there was no ventilation. It took ages to figure out how to turn off the air‑con to fix it, and I lost a lot of sleep.

The location is excellent if you’re heading to the Events Centre, and it’s right next to McDonald’s. The service was pretty standard; adding bath mats and hand towels would improve things, but the large towels were plenty.

“It’s a good place to stay just 1 of the housekeeper doesn’t know what privacy means”

The location is convenient and everything is nearby, which is really good. The only issue was one of the housekeepers: when we weren’t out, she would open the door with the key and walk in, invading our privacy; if we needed something we could just tell her and she would bring it, so she didn’t need to come inside. The other housekeeper was fine; she knocked, we opened the door, she asked what we needed, and brought it to us without intruding.
