Good accommodation, simple place. They were renovating, so the room had a few structural quirks, but nothing that messed up the stay—just a bit of aesthetic bother.

The bed was comfy, linens and sheets were solid, heater and shower were hot. Hosts were friendly and helped with getting around because the spot’s a bit off‑the‑beaten‑path and Uber’s a hassle even in peak season. Alessandro even offered to drive us to sights and the bus station on the day we left. The shower tap was loose, so setting the temperature was a bit of a struggle, and the lodge is far from everything, so a car is better. Still, the price made it worthwhile.

The location is great, close to the city center and easy to get around. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The room is excellent—highly recommend.

I didn’t stay at the place. I just arrived, took a shower, grabbed my stuff, and left. It was filthy—bugs everywhere, a horrible smell of fried food, dirt, and mold. I had booked a month earlier, paid well in advance, expecting a clean, cozy room from the photos, but the house was in a deplorable state, with trash everywhere, mold on the walls, a dirty bed with a terrible odor, and a bathroom with leaks and a roach infestation.
