Got a warm welcome and a free upgrade, which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly from the moment I walked in. No complaints, everything was spot on.

The hotel got a fresh look with some nice wooden accents, and the spot is away from the main road so it's quiet. The restaurant is easy to get to and the room is a decent size. But the lobby carpet feels a bit worn, the extra chair and table in the room aren't very handy, and the balcony can pick up food smells from the restaurant. Also, there's a church bell ringing from 6 am every day, which was fine for us but could be a bother if you need sleep.
