We weren’t prepared for the stay: the room lacked heating, water seeped in, there were no towels, no staff, the entrance was poorly located, and the address didn’t match the advertised one, among other issues, so we left because it was not dignified to stay there.

It’s a place full of stories, supposedly once the home of Violeta Parra, and the owner kept that old‑world vibe; the housekeeper was kind and the guards were very attentive, so I give them my compliments.

The mansion is very pretty, the rooms have air conditioning, but the restaurant was closed and the hotel entrance was via a windmill, which felt odd.
