The room I rented pleasantly surprised me: it was clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom tidy, the staff friendly (the lady with blond hair chatted with me about Japanese cuisine and more), and the owner was helpful and warm; he solved my problem with storing my bike, which is often an issue or requires a request.

I found everything in one spot: lodging, a 24‑hour gas station, a shop, a bar, and a car wash, so it’s a great stop on the road; the room’s standard and equipment exceeded our expectations, and we could also use the public kitchen.

The rooms and the whole place are very clean, which is a big plus. I still think it shouldn’t be called a hotel… you check in at the CPN station between buying a beer and filling up; there’s basically no breakfast, unless you grab a roll from the CPN station or wait until 10 to get food from the Chinese stall behind the wall, if you’re into that… the CPN staff… not a hotel, seemed fine until at checkout they took my keys and I had to wait for permission to leave because the lady went to check the room. I had to pass a room‑inspection test before I could exit. Very unpleasant for a guest. I’ve never seen such an approach and was a bit shocked. A major drawback for the owner, that those poor CPN girls have to carry out your ridiculous ideas about checking the room after the guest… shameful approach. You should do it discreetly without the guest’s knowledge!!!!

The staff were polite. The bathroom smelled stale, the room had cigarette odor, the location was above a restaurant and opposite a gas station with a car wash. There were kitchen smells, cigarette smoke in the restaurant’s courtyard, the room was extremely cramped, the TV was tablet‑size, and the sound insulation was very poor – you could hear all the neighbors around.

“Expectations were quite low since it's a gas station motel but rooms surprised with nicety.”

The rooms were clean and nice. The location is in a gopnik/bariga block, quite loud if the windows are left open but I’m used to that.
