Stéphanie, who speaks German well, welcomed us and her husband carried our luggage to the room. The room was very spacious; parking was right on the street next to the building. Breakfast in the communal area included some homemade cakes and more, and we had no further requests. Pont‑Aven itself is charming, and we were grateful to have booked two nights. Both restaurants we visited in the evening—La Promenade and Jardin des Simples—are highly recommended (Stéphanie also suggests them), though there are other options too. Light walks through the forest, to Chapelle Trémalo or along the Aven river, nice shops, and an interesting museum are additional plus points. We knew our room was on the 3rd floor without an elevator, so no complaint, just a note for people who might find it harder than we did.

Stephanie was a delightful and welcoming hostess, communicating excellently and giving us all the information we needed beforehand to enjoy our time in Pont‑Aven.

Breakfast was very hearty and excellent. The hosts give great local recommendations and are very friendly. I strongly recommend it! The rooms are very beautiful and very quiet.
