“Quiet, comfortable and private.”
Excellent on‑site parking, close to attractions like Hobbiton and the town of Cambridge, on a quiet street, a comfortable bed, and fantastic hosts. They ensured I had everything I needed for my stay. I’ll come back in the future!
I stayed in a quiet spot where the homemade jams and chutney looked gorgeous, and the hosts were really friendly. Nothing else to add.

We spent a month on a road trip around NZ and this suite became our favorite stop; it was in a separate building, very private and comfortable. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, and the room came with unexpected extras like jam and juice that we appreciated a lot. The pets and gardens added to the charm of the rural setting. The location had pros and cons: we loved the seclusion but driving the rural roads at night was a bit tense for us, not used to left‑hand driving on winding hilly roads with no shoulders, especially when we had to brake for possums.

We didn’t expect breakfast, so we were delighted to find fruit, milk, juice, bread, butter, condiments & spreads etc included in the rate. We were made to feel very welcome. No negatives.
