The Standard Queen Room contains one double bed for two guests. Air conditioning and double‑layered louver windows regulate temperature. A flat‑screen TV, telephone and laptop safe are provided. The private bathroom includes a hot/cold rainshower.

The room was spotless, well arranged, and the bed offered a truly restful sleep. The location was excellent, just a short walk from many dining spots, and I appreciated the lodge’s heritage vibe. Staff were very attentive and extremely helpful. However, the cupboard’s doors were hard to open, the ceiling fan blades needed cleaning, and the on‑site restaurant was closed during my stay.

The lodge’s position in World Heritage Georgetown on the quieter side was a real highlight. Walking distance to great cafés like Yun Sourdough (amazing breakfast and coffee) and Tian’s Nyonya Great Food (friendly family) made mornings easy, and there were plenty of tourist‑trap restaurants nearby. The room was impeccably clean, staff offered excellent tea and local desserts (kueh), and the furniture was beautifully local. It was very quiet and tidy. I’ll return and can only recommend it.
