“The neighborhood is very nice and this property is very bad in my opinion”

The place is in a nice spot in Trastevere with many good restaurants nearby, but the bathroom had huge problems: the boiler didn’t work well, hot water was hard to get in the shower, the bedroom had cleaning issues, and the shower drain was clogged, causing water to back up. It was so bad.

I already knew the area and liked how the neighborhood lets you walk around Rome and its landmarks easily. In Italy (south and Rome) I’ve seen that the price‑service ratio often doesn’t match. Here, for example, the shower drain was clogged, the bathroom got wet, and we had to wait until the next day to fix it because no staff were on site. There’s a kettle to heat water, but no two small cups of coffee or tea, plastic cups that melted with hot water, and no spoon to stir. These details, which should be covered by the price, are noticeable. They seem very relaxed because of the high tourist demand.

I liked the spot because it’s in a great area, but the room was noisy from the bars and restaurants below and the pillows were thin and uncomfortable.
