It was advertised as a 3‑star hotel, claimed to have electric blankets on the beds—which were there—but there was no double plug to use them, the night was freezing, and there was no water in the taps.

Arriving in Bloemfontein, I was told no rooms were available even though I had been told my booking was successful, so I realized this was a scam.

The hotel was good, but nothing special. It was clean and the staff were friendly, but I didn't feel like I got any real value for my money.
