AC Hotel by Marriott Tuscaloosa Downtown

“Staff was nice, rooftop bar was nice and bed was comfortable.”

The place is well‑located, but the noise is a problem—traffic, hallway chatter, and wall vibrations are all present.

“It was a decent stay wasn’t worth the price.”

I loved the location and the rooftop bar’s views, but the hotel’s cleanliness and amenities were disappointing, and I still felt charged as if I were staying at a luxury property.

The room needed a deep clean; the shower was moldy and the overall hygiene was poor.

“Decent property not the worst stay we have had but not the best either.”

The staff were super friendly and helpful, the location was good, and the hotel feels modern; we asked for towels because we didn’t realize daily housekeeping wasn’t included, and they supplied them quickly, with the manager confirming that housekeeping would come every other night. The room was clean and modern aside from the shower. We checked in at 5:30 and the room wasn’t ready until about 6:30; the shower floor was dirty and moldy, there’s no daily housekeeping—only every other day for a three‑night stay—and the hallway carpets need cleaning; breakfast options could have been better.

“It was a good place to stay because it was close to the event I was at and I felt safe”

I didn’t purchase the breakfast, but it seemed overpriced for what was offered; the blackout curtains in my room were only partially open and I couldn’t adjust them fully, making sleep difficult, and the hall carpet was badly stained.
